2006 October Florida Keys

 

Florida Keys 2006

This year's annual visit to the Florida Keys, last year we were chased out by a hurricane. Fortunately, this year the weather cooperated very well, and we had a wonderful time. Be sure to view all the other stops we made during this trip.

Great times sitting along the sea wall, we saw a great many more sea life than previous years such as:

LOBSTER, Manta Ray, Baby Octopus

It seems the octopus is eating the lobster!!! We found many shells - fresh eaten of lobster. Tom took one home and glued it together to place on the mantle.

Obviously, we always had plenty to eat.

1916 House - Grant, FL














Coral Castle, located near Homestead, FL one man quarried the coral rock and moved it to this location and built his castle. Awesome!
