So I have been touring with my WIN's friends on Route 66 to move between wintering in Mexico and Arizona to Arkansas and Missouri for kayaking with other WIN's friends.
Typical Route 66 touring is to hit it as you go, the locations are so spread out that you would definitely waste a day to keep returning to your RV. So you pull off alongside the road every time an attraction is there. Stop and Go, over and over.
Some really cool things to see though.
Imagine in a desert a deep hole in the ground so deep divers are screened before entering and sometimes are restricted to a limited depth. Bob Schools who is traveling with me learned to scuba dive here.I remember this!
Tom, Bob S. June, Bob M. fellow WIN's travelers
2 bobs a June and a Tom, sounds like a popsicle!
Tough Lady!
From the right
From the leftHouse built of stones
Anyone remember these?
The artist who drew all of the murals in town had a studio here. He lives in Arizona for his health now but does come back annually to touch up. It shows in how well these murals are!
