I depart Texas and Minnie goes home to Oklahoma to plant her garden. I will be going fast for 1 day to go through the final stage of the eastbound Heat Dome. I will lay over in Las Cruces, NM skipping Carlsbad National Park for I had been there 25 years ago and was planning to stop again but the heat made me move on.
