2026 March Southern US Border going West

Finished up the final Doctor appointments in Florida, its time to head west to spend summer with family. Taking my time of course for the weather is just beginning to warm. I go north first and see Doug, Amanda, Zach for a few days.

We boys had fun working together on house improvements, it sure is nice to work together, chatting, probably one of the very best times together!

Back on the western travel I stop several times and take a day or two to relax, see local sights. I have been this way many times and occasionally see something new. Tallahassee had a Civil War Reenactment nearby. I was there early in the day, and the tents were not really open to visitors for they were eating breakfast. I was looking at the traveling forge and the gent came up and shared allot of information of how traveling forge worked. Pretty interesting how each unit had a forge to repair things!

Another stop at a campground and a neighbor came over to chat, she smoked allot of weed and kept up a running chatter! Funny lady.

Another stop and I meet fellow WIN's Angel and John. They live outside New Orleans and are fairly new to RV travel. We enjoyed a couple of days sharing ideas, chatting. AND Angel taught me how to make Shrimp Creole, gumbo, Etouffee!
